Nice shot of the “V” formation. Two of them, in fact. You know, scientists have done extensive studies to understand why one side is longer than the other. Was it a better formation for air flow, wind resistance, turbulence? Does it make it easier on the birds to travel in such a pattern? Well, after all their research, they’ve determined that the reason one part is longer is because that’s the part with more birds in it.
