I am continually amazed at the quality of photos this Nokia 5610 can take. I think the best part is that with the macro ability and the lens focus, you can achieve a much better depth of field. The results are so much better than most photos from camera phones, which usually come out flat and lacking depth (which is what makes creating content for this site so hard!).

Happy Friday! Time for a tasty styrofoam cup of tea. I love the way the tea infuses the water and settles to the bottom like in this photo.

Bunny is so cute. He is officially part of the group now, with no more territory fighting, with the exception of one little issue a few days ago. He still plays fetch, or at least chases after the toy with the dogs. Now that we’re getting cool weather, bunny is a happy camper.

Nothing like re-planting a tree after it has been uprooted, stripped and pressure-treated in order to ultimately serve as a light pole for people to enjoy nature. The irony is that the pole is right next to this massive pine in a park where trees are protected.

Why I’m Not Around These Days

It’s been a busy few weeks at work, with the pending rollout of a new company web site. While I enjoy doing big projects like web site re-design, it takes a lot of brain power and I’m usually drained by the end of the day. I can post an image or two, but that’s about it. The rest of the time is spent slumped in a chair and then going to bed.
Anyway, I had an outing with my oldest daughter this weekend while my youngest was at a birthday party. While she ran around the park, I did a mini photo walk. You’ll get to see some shots from that this week and next, so stay tuned. I’m hoping to be less busy in the near future, so don’t take it personally if I’m neglecting your comments. I’m reading them and I thank you for your comments. Stick with me, I’ll be around.
