I could stare at that for a long time… I don’t know what it is, but I’m not convinced it’s important to know. I think that’s what makes it so compelling.

Part of it looks like one of those walls made of glass bricks that you sometimes see in older architecture. That doesn’t explain the smaller grid-like refractions, though. I hope I’m on the right track, anyway…
