OK, before you go on and call me a lush, know that I only had one rum and Coke that evening. Had I drank a few more, maybe this is what everything would have looked like. But then I wouldn’t have thought to take the photo.
The rum in question is Cruzan, direct from the island of St. Croix. Unlike most spiced rum I’ve tried, this one was much lighter in color and flavor, but still had that spiced rum headiness to it. It’s good stuff that makes you yearn for the islands. What better way to spend a summer evening with friends but on the back porch enjoying a quality beverage?

Awesome! I gotta send this post to Rachel. She’ll really enjoy this. Again, we gotta do this more often…this time with citronella candles because mosquitoes ate me alive (which I discovered the next day). Cruzan!

I hate mosquitoes. I agree, Cruzan ahoy!
I don’t get it- this is the picture you took while drunk on rum?
I wasn’t drunk on rum, oy. I did take it while drinking said rum, though. :)
You take better photos after a drink or two than I do sober. How does that work?
:)

Why thank you! I did have a beer or two that night, in addition to the one rum drink. It’s funny because that’s way more than I usually consume.
I see either a minefield of glowing fish hooks, or an iridescent underwater umbrella-hanadle factory. Do I need Cruzan goggles to view?

You win! I’m with you on the fish hooks. That was my first impression of it, although I like the idea of “an iridescent underwater umbrella-hanadle factory.”
And no Cruzan goggles needed, but if you’re up for it, why not?
Cruzan goggles on the way to you, free of charge just for commenting, lover pettej… CRUZAN!

CRUZAN! (my new battle cry)
I agree with the fishhooks. But it also reminds me of Candy Canes. Though not quite as colorful heh.
wow! this could be a good design for Christmas lights! :D
