The Black-and-White Obsession Continues
I almost used the word “fetish” instead of “obsession,” but then I thought that might attract seekers of adult entertainment. But who in the heck would have a fence fetish? Well, there’s that guy who literally loves his car and that other guy who likes sleeping with his motorcycle. But a fence lover? Nah. Impossible. (I’d run a Google search, but I’m afraid of what I might find.)
2 minutes later…
OK, so I ran a search and it turns out that most results have to do with horses, fence-spotting, or violating the purpose of a fence. So it wasn’t that bad after all. If you have Google Earth (follow the link below if you don’t), check out this KML file of different snow fences. It’s actually nice photography.

Fences are great! I like abandoned roads.

Good editorial!
You still used fetish in your post, so those fence fetishees will still be finding you. Neat photo, but it’s just going to rub those people the wrong way.

Love the site. Been following you on and off since I ran across it on Blog Catalog. I think you cam phone takes better pictures than mine. I have a razr. No flash for one, but grainy over-all quality.
Close up black and white shots are much more abstract as they lose the clues the colour information would have given.
At least that’s what I think – and it’s why I like black and white images in general and this one in particular…..

Haunting and beautiful at the same time. I love wrecked, distressed, dilapidated junky looking stuff turned into works of art.
