Five Great Photo Sites
This entry was posted on Dec 19 2007
I’ll get to posting photos and such again soon, I promise. In the meantime, here’s a few recommended links to get your photo fix:
- Take a peek at Gale Rainwater’s nature photography. It’s an incredible showcase of photos that easily rivals those of National Geographic quality. Don’t miss the amazing panoramic shots in the gallery.
- Snow getting you down? Susanne has the cure for you.
- I’ve been away for awhile, but my recent visit to jungl’s Photos from Northern Norway reminded me of why I went there in the first place. He’s also started an interesting project called Musings from a Male Knitter. I want a pair of those socks.
- Photography by KML has loads of photos on every genre, but some of my favorites are the textures. How can you not like this worn-out basketball?
- Suwat’s site header says, “If one photo can change a person life, that’s good enough.” How can you argue with that? Digital Shutter Mania has a great collection of digital photos and easy-to-use and effective tricks. My favorite trick ever: the pop-up flash diffuser. How incredibly simple.

Susanne: If I had more vacation time, I’d drive down. You run a B&B down there?
Jon: He’s one of the first photographers I met online and I’ve been a fan ever since. I love the long exposure shots he’s done.
Thanks for the LINKAGE

I have enjoyed visiting both Suzanne’s and Thomas’s Photos from Northern Norway and I agree their photos are superb. I like the detail Thomas gives regarding what equipment he used what type of lighting etc.
Debo Hobo’s last blog post..Pre-Weekend Elixir-Irish Hot Chocolate
I’ve always considered giving out specs, but they never really change from photo to photo. I’ve not totally given up on the idea either.
I’ve got to make one of those Irish Hot Chocolate drinks. Probably without the Irish.
I love the photography on Gale Rainwater’s site and blog. Truly stunning work isn’t it?
I’m away to check out the others….
Hot chocolate? Now you are talking….
Diane’s last blog post..Festive greetings!
Gale’s stuff is amazing. I’ve got other sites to list as well, but I think five is plenty to chew on for now. I’ll post another five sites in the future.
Many thanks, Pete for including me on your list! I also enjoy Gale’s, Sue’s, Suwat’s and Thomas’ work and am honored to be included with them!
