100th Post and a Special Treat!
Your GPS Camera Phone: Shiera at Bisdak Babbles
Each time I look into this picture, it makes me think about the path I took and the roads that I have to take so I’m quoting this poem:
“You cannot discover the purpose of life by asking someone else – the only way you’ll ever get the right answer is by asking yourself.”
– Terri Guillemets
The pagoda that’s at the end of this road is the Toji Temple in Kyoto, Japan. This five-story pagoda is the highest wooden tower in Japan. Taken last April 2007, using a Sharp V604SH.

The other day, I approached Shiera about being a featured guest after I saw some great camera phone photos she posted. Thankfully, she accepted! What I didn’t realize is that my 100th post was quickly approaching, so the timing was great – I get to celebrate my 100th post by featuring a special guest!
Details on participation in the Your GPS Camera Phone™ program will follow, so wipe off the grubby, pocket-lint coated camera phone lens and start shooting! Thanks to everyone who has visited my blog and inspired me. Like I’ve said before, it’s all about you.
On to the next 100 posts!

CONGRATULATIONS for the first 100 and there will be many more interesting, creative, funny posts to read and see from you, I’m sure! Looking forward for more to come.

Congrats Pete! It’s been great following you on your last set of posts and now this 100th one. Looking forward to the collaboration between you and Shiera.
A new program! I’m ready! I just upgraded my phone 2 weeks ago and it has a 3 mega pixel camera. Woo hoo! But it doesn’t matter about the phone, I still don’t have an eye like you and Shiera, lol

Keep your posts coming it’s really helpful as a daily distraction and new perspective on our native Florida with all types of subjects waiting to make this Blog. Smile because a smile can change others moods and affect their own wellbeing.

Thank you to you all. Seriously, I truly believe that the acknowledgment from others in the blogosphere has helped me in many ways. More exciting things to come soon!
Diane: What, no chocolate?
Susanne: I think you might be the second person on earth who thinks I’m funny. Or at least the second one to admit it publicly.
Rolando: Man, I am so last month! 2 Megapixels, pfft. Here’s the beauty of digital photography: shoot until your trigger finger is bleeding. If it stinks, delete. You can capture something, I’m sure of it! Get to shooting!
Leatherboots: All types of subjects? Hey, if you have suggestions on what to shoot, let me know. I’ve noticed that it’s easy to obsess over one topic once I’ve captured something good. Variation is key, so I’m open to subject ideas.
steve: I had a witty response typed in, but my comments plugin ate it. Something to do with over-consumption of beer, so it is probably better off.
Hi Pete!
Congratulations on your 100th post!
My… I was really dumbstruck when I learned that you posted my picture in this important event of your blog. I’m really honored.. thank you!
I do hope that the picture’s a treat…
Anyway, keep on shooting that GPS camera… I’m also trying to learn from you! hehe

Hey, congrats! Glad to discover you on your 100th post! Last week I just got my first cameraphone, a Moto Razr V3. It takes pretty decent photos; they could be a little higher-resolution, but it seems to capture contrast and lighting well. My previous on-the-go photo option was my Minidisc camera, and that was too slow to be of much use. I am LOVING this cameraphone, because I’m able to take more spontaneous snaps of the kids.
Stephen’s last blog post..My second voice post.
congratulations on your 100th post! I really like popping here now and then, you always have something good to look at.
onwards and upwards!
Andy Bailey’s last blog post..Beginners AJAX. Tutorial series. Part 1
shiera: It all worked out better than I could have imagined! Now all I need to do is work out the submission method for anyone to participate and we’re in business. Thank you very much for the great photo.
AntiBarbie: I’ll be around for your 100th post, for sure! Keep going, it only gets easier!
Jon: Yeah, little peteej is growing up. I wouldn’t say “famous,” but that will come with time and hard work.
Thanks for your support!
Stephen: Welcome to the blog and thank you! Keep on shooting, I’ll be opening up the blog to visitor photos soon (I hope soon). Camera phones rock, I can’t get enough of mine.
Andy: Thanks for stopping in Andy! Well, I can honestly say that your CommentLuv plugin is partly responsible for my site getting some exposure. It’s one of my favorite plugins of all-time.
I’ll have to check out that AJAX Tutorial series. It’s something I’ve been meaning to learn, but haven’t committed the time to yet.
Congrats on your 100th post. That’s a big deal. I recently passed that milestone. I know how good it feels.
Peace,
Lisa
Lisa McGlaun’s last blog post..Mariane Pearl – In Seach of Hope
Thanks, Lisa! It arrived so quickly that I nearly missed it. I’ve skimmed your blog and I have to say it sure is nice to read about people who are doing good in the world. I gave up the news months ago because it was so negative. It’s beyond reporting – it’s entertainment worse than a B-movie. Thank you for your contribution to help turn things around.
My pleasure!
Got to get better at taking pictures with my phone so that I could contribute a photo again once you work out that submission method!
shiera’s last blog post..Thursday Thirteen #2
I look forward to your photos!
Talk to me when you are at 1,000,000,000 posts. LOL! Dude, congrats and keep up the good work, I love your writing as well as the photography.
Thanks, bro. Likewise, you keep me entertained as well. Keep on representin’ for the dads.
