Today’s first post is brought to you by my most awesome wife, Nancy, who also rides a motorcycle. She has a black tank that gives up some pretty neat reflections of the sky and trees. Note the helmet at the top of the photo and its reflection. Can you tell me what brand it is?

Petee,
I would say the Helmet is a SHOE because I gave her the Helmet from my own Motorcycle Days. I’m not sure about the Spelling but I think it is pronounced Show-ee. Take care and everyone else Nancy is my little sister.

That’s definitely not the same helmet, but you guessed it correctly. You win! And for winning, you can return to this blog as much as you want! Congrats!

Yeah! I am someone’s hero! Many Thanks Joanne!!! You are my hero too! By the way, yes hunny, my bike is black; but the photo I took was black and white, so how could you tell? {;o) Yo! leather boots dude, I don’t need your stinkin’ helmet! LITTLE-HA! Thanks bro! {:0{O)~

Ro: It’s a Honda Nighthawk 800. Or 750 or something. All I know is that it hums like a sewing machine and is really freakin’ fast! I would get so many tickets on one of these. I opt for the touring bike myself. Keeps me out of trouble and makes lots of noise.
Jo: Another little known fact about me - she introduced me to motorcycles! Yeah, that’s how cool she is. I’d rather ride in a thunderstorm than drive a car.
Public Service Announcement: If you ride, wear a helmet, please. Just last week, a local Gator football player and his teammate’s girlfriend died in a motorcycle crash - no helmets. We get these stories every week in the paper. All no helmets.

nanc, my most awesome* wife: I took a guess at the color. Like always, you know that!
(* Repeated usage of “most awesome” is my tribute to Joeprah. He and his family are most awesome. But so is mine. We may even be awesomer, but I don’t know yet.)

So cool! You keep taking these inventive pictures and you’re really going to continue to get attention. I loved it because in knew it was a reflection but at first i thought it was the hood of a car.

Thanks, Joe! Well, at least you got the Honda part right, sort of. The helmet is a Shoei.

Shoei. If you wish you rode, then do it. Get a used 250cc bike to learn on, drop it a few times, get the feel for it and then move up in power. There’s nothing like riding a motorcycle on a nice day. Yeah, it’s a risk, but everything else is, too. Just wear a helmet, please, please.
