Shrooms… I’m afraid I barely like shrooms at any time. I think portabellos end up great in my gumbo, but other than that, I loathe mushrooms!

I love mushrooms. I use to hunt the morels when I lived in the northeast. Absolutely delicious. Is this one edible or non? I leave them alone if I don’t recognize them. ;o)

Titania: See above. These are “Death Caps.” Just like silica gel packets say, “Do not eat.”
Is it edible? The only time I see mushrooms in our yard is if I don’t mow the lawn for more than a week.

I looked carefully, but I did not see any smurfs.
Rolando: see response above your post. Since I live in Florida and have a “natural” lawn, I only have to mow once a month or so. Then, it goes dormant for a few months in the winter. Therefore, the ’shrooms love my yard.
Joe: It’s because I marinaded them in worchestershire sauce and cooked them over an open fire.
